Join Professor Todd Johnson for a conversation about Sarah Koenig’s essay “This is My Daily Bread: Toward a Sacramental Theology of Evangelical  Praise and Worship.” The essay discusses the way in which praise and worship may function in some traditions the way the Lord’s Supper does in others, as the place to encounter the presence of God.  A couple responders, Dr. Ed Willmington and Stassi McAteer, will be discussing Koenig’s article and bringing their own prepared responses, after which Professor Johnson will facilitate a broader discussion.  If you want to read the essay it is available in the Fuller library in WORSHIP 82 (no. 2) March 2008: pp141-61, but you do not need to have read the article to come.  A free pizza lunch will be provided.
